Breakbulk Handling – Process & Next Steps
- Understanding Breakbulk
Breakbulk refers to the process where multiple individual orders are consolidated into a single “mother shipment”. This consolidated shipment clears customs as one entry and is then broken down again into individual deliveries for final distribution.

- Current Support in Our System
At this moment, we only support Breakbulk via file upload. To enable this, breakbulk files must be transferred to an SFTP location associated with the account.
- Required Action
To proceed, please contact your DHL representative at DHL and request:
➡️ SFTP credentials dedicated to your account These credentials will allow you to upload breakbulk files directly into the SFTP environment for processing.
