Statistics on website usage is very often considered essential. It is not, it is a very handy tool to see if the content serves you and can give good indications how to serve you better. But there is no need to have cookies hanging around: we use Plausible, Posthog and Leadinfo, all configured to function without the use of cookies.
We also use some essential functionality that - in its basic form - have a need for cookies that do not harm your privacy.
