Viya sends structured despatch advice messages (typically via EDI or file exchange) confirming what exactly has been collected or dispatched. This enables the carrier to plan their operations and update their systems with accurate shipment information.

Multiple shipments can be grouped into a single manifest for this carrier. The manifest is transmitted to the carrier as a consolidated handover document, typically used at the point of collection or depot drop-off.

Viya can create shipments with this carrier automatically via a direct integration. When your system sends shipment data to Viya, the booking is placed with the carrier, a label is generated, and tracking is initiated — without manual intervention.

Booked shipments can be cancelled programmatically through the carrier integration. If a shipment is no longer needed after booking, Viya sends a cancellation request to the carrier and updates the shipment status accordingly.

Viya can store rates for this carrier. This enables rate comparison across carriers and automatic selection of the best option based on cost, transit time, or service level.
