Our new shipping platform Viya connects shippers to multiple carriers, engaging them to save costs and improve their customer delivery experience. What are you going to do?
As Engineering Manager, you will our engineers in our product development organisation. You’ll be responsible for the growth and development of your team members, while ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that delight our customers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead, mentor, and develop talented engineers to achieve their full potential
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and ownership
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide feedback to drive professional growth
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
- Work closely with product and other teams to align on priorities and execute effectively
- Remove blockers and provide support to ensure your team’s success
- Champion technical excellence and best practices across the organisation
- Help shape our engineering culture and organisational structure

Your general skills:

- Experience developing people and building high-performing teams
Your technical and professional skills:
- Proven experience as an engineering manager or technical lead
- A solid background in software development (you should be able to understand and discuss technical decisions)
- An opinion on code quality, architecture, and engineering practices
- Experience with modern software development processes and methodologies
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
Your application is even more attractive if you have:
- Experience scaling engineering teams in a fast-growing startup
- Knowledge of cloud-native development and containerization
- Familiarity with microservices architectures
- Experience with the technologies in our tech stack
